Terms of Use

These conditions govern access to and use of this website. Visiting a page, reading its material, or submitting a search means that you accept every term below. If you disagree, stop using the site.

NO FCRA USE. This privately owned website has no connection to a local, Texas, or federal government body. Neither this site nor its advertising partners provide a service for credit decisions, employment screening, insurance underwriting, tenant evaluation, or any other Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) purpose. The site only helps visitors locate Dallam County and Texas criminal-record resources. It is not a private investigation firm or a consumer reporting agency.

1. What This Website Is

This private reference website operates independently of government. It neither stores official criminal records nor retrieves records, files documents, or performs official checks for users.

Its role is to identify Dallam County custodians, including the sheriff, shared jail, criminal courts, Texas Department of Public Safety repository, and Texas Public Sex Offender Registry, and to provide links to outside research tools.

2. Rules for Using This Site

As a condition of use, you must not:

  • Use bots, scraping software, or another automated process on the pages
  • Violate any applicable local, state, or federal law
  • Attempt unauthorized entry into the site's systems
  • Harass, stalk, or threaten a person with information found here
  • Use site content for hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decisions
  • Interfere with performance or prevent others from accessing the site

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

Information from this site or a linked service may not be used to stalk, harass, intimidate, threaten, or discriminate against anyone, and such conduct may be criminal. Texas Code of Criminal Procedure Chapter 62 controls public data in the Texas Public Sex Offender Registry. Registry information supports public safety awareness, not vigilantism, employment blacklisting, housing discrimination, or harm to a person listed.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA and do not create consumer reports, credit reports, or background checks. Our advertising partners and this site do not offer tools designed to assess job applicants, rental applications, insurance rates, or creditworthiness. You may not use this site's information or linked tools to:

  • Evaluate a person's creditworthiness or insurance premium
  • Make a hiring or termination decision
  • Assess a housing or rental applicant
  • Determine access to a license, permit, or government benefit
  • Carry out any other FCRA-regulated activity

For a regulated purpose, use an FCRA-compliant screening provider or the proper official process through the Texas Department of Public Safety.

5. No Legal Advice

The site's general explanation of Dallam County records is not legal advice. Only a licensed Texas attorney can advise how a warrant, charge, conviction, expunction, or nondisclosure rule affects a particular matter.

6. No Warranties

All content and services are supplied "as is." We make no promise that:

  • A partner's search result will be complete or correct
  • Information on a page is always accurate, current, and complete
  • The website will operate continuously
  • The pages contain no bug, error, or security weakness

Charges may be filed or dismissed, and records may later be expunged, corrected, or restricted. Gaps and delays are unavoidable. No content here is an official statement from the Dallam County clerk, sheriff, jail, Texas DPS, or another government agency.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

Links can lead to Dallam County offices, court portals, Texas agencies, legal-aid groups, and commercial search providers. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their availability, prices, privacy practices, or content. Review their terms before use.

8. Intellectual Property

Text, code, graphics, and logos belong to Dallam County Criminal History or its content partners. Written permission is required before copying, modifying, distributing, or creating derivative material from that content.

9. Limits on Our Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, we disclaim liability for damage arising from site use, including reliance on information obtained here or from a linked provider.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless against a claim, demand, or action resulting from your site use or violation of these terms, including related legal fees and costs.

11. Governing Law

Texas law governs these terms. A dispute arising from use of this website must be brought in a court located in Texas. The Texas Public Information Act, Government Code Chapter 552, applies to government-held public information, and Government Code Chapter 411 governs dissemination of state criminal-history information; neither makes this private site an official source.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these conditions at any time. A revision becomes effective when it is posted on this page.

13. Cutting Off Access

Access may be restricted or ended at any time, for any reason, without advance notice.

14. Severability

If one provision is held invalid or unenforceable, every remaining provision continues in effect. The affected language will be modified only as needed to make it enforceable.

15. Questions

Questions about these conditions may be submitted through the Contact page.
